12 Hour Advanced Driver Improvement Class

Florida SealThe 12 hour ADI course is required by Florida drivers that have had their license suspended, revoked (Non-DUI Related) or have received a court order to attend an Advanced Drivers class.  Typical reasons students need to take this course include:

  • Excessive Points Suspension
  • Habitual Traffic Offender (HTO) -to obtain a Hardship License
  • Court Ordered as part of a sentencing judgment
  • Drivers License reinstatement for non-payment of Court Ordered requirements such as Child Support

If you are in danger of having your license suspended or have already had your drivers license suspended, a judge may allow you to take this course.  In the case of a suspended or revoked license, or if you are classified as an Habitual Traffic Offender, taking this 12 hour ADI traffic school course may allow you to apply for a hardship license to drive to and from work.

Advanced Driver Improvement (ADI) Class Details

The 12 hour ADI traffic school class is available on weekends in a Traditional Live Classroom at our Tampa Center.  A class is completed on 2 consecutive weekend days; Saturday and Sunday for 6 hours each day. 

Students need to pre-register for a weekend class no later 5:30 pm, Friday using our online form.  Attendance on both days is required.

Classes are conducted in a seminar style format.  The course is divided into multiple sessions and topics.  There is no test required to complete the class, but students are expected to actively participate in the seminar discussions in order to receive their Completion Certificate.

The 12 hour ADI traffic school course enlightens students in discovering how their attitudes towards time management, stress, anger management, the driving environment, and individual personality traits all play a part in their driving behavior.

The total price of the Traditional Live Classroom course is $110.00 (in English).  The price includes the course, classroom materials, all State of Florida fees, certificate processing and your certificate.  Further, your original Completion Certificate (for the Court) and a copy is provided immediately at the end of the class, as well as copies of your Court Papers for your records.
